Syracuse made no hiding the fact the team would blitz. Northwestern handled it perfectly and put up points quickly. This was a sign of NU’s preparedness for the beginning of the season.
It was a no-sweat victory for Northwestern as the Wildcats hit the gas pedal on the passing game and never really eased up in a blowout home opener victory.
