Previewing Florida Bowl Games with 1080 AM Insiders

This past weekend, I got the chance to co-host The Insiders Show on 1080 AM The Team in Orlando. We talked mostly about the Orlando Magic, my other blogging passion. But we did touch on the upcoming bowl games in Florida.

Yes, New Years’ Day is a big day for Florida and for the Big Ten in Florida. Not only is Northwestern playing Mississippi State in Jacksonville, but Michigan takes on South Carolina and Nebraska takes on Georgia in the middle part of the state. The Capital One Bowl matchup between the Cornhuskers and the Bulldogs is obviously a big part of the talk on the Orlando radio station.

But since I am the resident Northwestern expert, we talk a fair amount about the upcoming Gator Bowl. Still time to get our feet wet as we prepare for this matchup.
