It is just about the time when Fitz starts to land his first commitments for the next year's recruiting class. When you combine Fitz' infectious and energetic approach to some keen marketing, you start to get a nice April football buzz. Many of you, like me, received a NU-produced 2008 DVD highlight video along with our season ticket renewal package. Simultaneously, NU announced a freeze on ticket prices and even offered lower-priced tickets for youthful fans and economic family packages. Then came the announcement of a new website, http://www.nufootballfamily.com/ which apparently produced the insider access to Fitz mic'd during a practice. I'm not sure how any recruit who is considering NU could watch this and not want to sign on with the Cats. It just makes you know that focus and energy will not be the reason we lose games.
