Arrington Out For Year

Uggh. You've just got to be sick for senior LB, Malcolm Arrington, who ESPN.com reports is done for the season with an undisclosed knee injury. Let's pray he makes it back, somehow, for the bowl game. The link is here.

Also, the Big Ten Network shot me a note that Tyrell Sutton will be making an appearance on Big Ten Tonight - tonight. Be sure to check out Northwestern's incredible media relations of kids speaking coach speak at that time. We are the best in the business at not having kids say ANYTHING that would be construed as locker room psych material.

Back in the dark days, a loss like this would cripple a depth-challenged defense. I have complete and total confidence in Coach Hank's ability to get our guys filling in to get the job done. Get well Malcolm. We've got a warm weather game for you to play in. . .

Sigh. At least there wasn't insult added to injury like there was with Nick Roach's injury at homecoming two years ago.

I'm sure he was psyched up to play at Michigan Stadium, too.

I am so disappointed to hear about Arrington. The wood he laid in the Iowa game made me believe in NU's defense again!
