What Hoops Season? On to Softball- Cats beat #1 Arizona

So you know the drill, the Cats lose yet again, this time actually blowing a lead they held for a good part of the game before getting smoked by Purdue 71-56. The Cats drop to 0-12 in the Big Ten in what is becoming a painstaking season, er century, er history. So, to cope, think softball. The Drohan sisters fabulous team sank #1-ranked Arizona today in what looks like a sign of yet another potential World Series run. Congrats! If only women's programs got the same pub - softball is top 10 and tennis is #2. And we all know about the lacrosse program. What a shame that the hoops program - both men's and women's is blowing a smokescreen of bad that is covering an otherwise promising athletic year at NU.
